Keywords: email pager beeper

What is it?

This program enables a user to get his or her e-mail sent to them via
an electronic device known as a pager or beeper. A sample page might
look like this:

                   ****************
                   * 12-2-1-0-4-1 *
                   ****************

where 9 is the total number of messages
and the other fields user-defined search strings.

For example, if I got this page, I might think "Ok, 12 messages total, 2
from Jim, 1 from Nancy, none from Bob, 4 from Jake, and 1 from my grandma
in Poughkeepsie."

of course, 2+1+0+4+1 < 12 so that means 4 messages are from strangers.

This program can be easily adapted to other uses such as security/crisis
monitoring, and any other circumstance where you might want your computer
to page you.

This is the second release of this program, and this version is much
better documented, and has more functionality.

If you have any questions or comments, or you are interested in getting a
specially modified version of this program to fit your personal needs,
