Load / Eject Button

Select this button to load or eject the disc caddy.
If no disc is loaded, selecting this button will
cause Xmcd to attempt to load a caddy. Otherwise,
the caddy will be ejected.

If an eject operation is performed, Xmcd also starts
a polling sequence to detect the manual insertion of
another CD.

This button may not be actually cause the disc to
load or eject on some CD-ROM drives, notably those
that do not have a motorized caddy mechanism. Many
CD-ROM drives support motorized eject but not motorized
load. In that event, you must manually load the caddy.

If you eject the disc manually (i.e., not using the
Load/Eject button on Xmcd, but on the drive itself),
you may want to select this button after ejecting
anyway, because this notifies Xmcd that the disc has
been withdrawn so that it can update its internal states,
and start polling for a new disc to be inserted.
Otherwise, the next disc will not be automatically
detected by Xmcd when it is loaded. You must select
the Stop button once for Xmcd to reinitialize itself.
