			Recovery from data loss
	 		***********************

It is possible to recover from accidental loss of
data using the backup facilities provided by gloe.

	To recover from:

		Accidentally overwriting a file.
		^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Load the lost file you want with the extension
		 ".gloebackup" added.
		e.g.

The file "myWork" would become "myWork.gloebackup".
This only works if you have the autobackup
		facility turned on.

Loss of unsaved data through system failure
		or accidental termination etc.
		^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Run gloe with the name of the lost file specified
and the word "recover" after this.
		e.g.

To recover the file "myWork" you would type
"gloe myWork recover" at the command prompt.

This will attempt to recover from the loss.

This again only works if you had autosave turned on.

The degree of recovery depends on the period of
time you have set between automatic saves.

The default for this is 60 seconds.

See AutoSave for details of configuration.
